Cav Kavanaugh was a Popular man at this meet. I was hard to get near Cav because he's around his teammates a lot and he is Such an icon in the sport. Cav has been swimming in this LMSC for decades and my big takeaway of Cav Kavanaugh is that his wife, deb Kavanaugh, is an awesome swimmer too and they're always at meets together and they Seem to keep it fun as a couple and really support one another, and I feel like that's kind of part of their secret Is that they've been doing this together for decades.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, i like that too. I like how she was like you broke a 40 year old record, she's like it. Yeah, for me that just the longevity of somebody who's been swimming since he was six or seven years old, so literally swimming 80 years. And he he talked about how he's friends with kids, that he Not that he coached but we're on the other teams when he was a coach in high school that they're now there has, now there is equals there And so just showing up swimming can it's a lifestyle and it's obviously worked really well for him.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and he has a lot of friends in the swimming community, so it was I'm glad I got a, i'm glad I got to spend some time with he and Deb. Yeah, wonderful, all right, thanks, maria, love you. Love you too.
